About Sarah Grout, M.D.
My goal as a clinician is to use an evidence-based approach to provide compassionate care to patients and their families. As an educator and expert in medical education, I am committed to educating the next generation of physicians through leading-edge pedagogy and simulation techniques.
Dr. Sarah Grout is an Assistant Professor of °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ Emergency Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine at °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ. She received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Grout completed her pediatrics residency at Indiana University Riley Hospital for Children and a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at the University of Louisville prior to joining the faculty at °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ. She also holds a Master's degree in Health Professions Education from the University of Louisville. She is interested in procedural training and the use of simulation in medical education.
